This morning I observed several (=3) male Hooded Warblers during a
meandering hike around the Wilson Tract. I suppose I will have to
visit the Hooded Tract if I wish to find Wilson's Warblers (wink).
To reach the Wilson Tract in Norfolk County, travel west from Hwy 59
on Regional Rd 60
Tthere was a modest influx of migrants at East Point this morning.
White-eyed Vireo - Seen along the path that runs through the middle
of the park, parallel to the lake and just west of the point.
Northern Parula - Immediately west of parking lot on the east side

We just had a call from Hillman Marsh Conservation Area (just north of
Point Pelee), reporting the sighting of a Kirtland's Warbler. The location
description we have is between the trail to the shorebird habitat and the
official board, close to the area where they do education
Observations of nesting Peregrine Falcon are requested from birders for the
2010 Ontario-wide survey. The results of the survey which is coordinated by
the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources will help assess the status of
this threatened species. The aim is to locate and monitor all Peregrine

Tonight, just before the storm hit at approx 8:30 we were driving on the
road north of Hillman's Marsh - Mersea Rd 2 and Mersea Rd 21.
An eagle flew over then a 2nd one, then we saw three more - followed them
toward the lake, they were frolicking in the wind currents and saw all 5
several times
Hey Birders,
Today was pretty good, especially considering the weather conditions. Cooler
winds from the East brought a few good birds. The highlight was a female BLUE
GROSBEAK at Sheridan's Point. It was found at 1pm, first seen by Richard and
Felicity Pope and was last seen at 8:30pm in
