[Ontbirds] Presqu'ile Provincial Park - Baird's Sandpiper

Doug Lockrey and I birded Presqu'ile on Lake Ontario today. Our best shorebird was an adult Baird's Sandpiper at Owen Point. Adults are rare in southern Ontario while juveniles are much more frequent. The first juvenile Baird's are expected in a week or two. The Baird's was with two adult

 Today at around 4:10 pm on McNaughton Rd in Vaughan, across from the Loews Store ( 200 McNaughton Rd I think is the address) in the dirt area under construction, there were at least 44 Killdeer, with more flying in the area. McNaughton runs between Keele and Major Mackenzie. Good birding.
