Winter listers:
In spite of the blast of winter the area has received, the juvenile Spotted
Sandpiper found by Tim King on Dec 11th was still at Port Weller East (St
Catharines) at 1:00 p.m. today. If you are walking towards the point along
the east shore the bird was feeding along the rocky shore
A Hermit Thrush has been visiting our feeders for several days, feeding mostly
on the ground and occasionally on the suet cake.
The bird is in a residential area. Anyone interested can give me a call.

Last week over several days I had a white throated sparrow under my feeders in
Collingwood. Don't know if he has survived this week-end's huge snowfall.
