Hey Birders,
Constant rain throughout the entire day hampered birding alittle, but with that
being said, some interesting species were still seen...
Here are the highlights...
Hooded Warbler - 1 female at Fish Point
Nelson's Gull - 1 first-year bird seen at Fish Point - likely the same bird
I spent 4 hours from 1:00 to 5:00 birding the marsh and surrounding woods (the
latter which are very saturated with water). About a hours was spent birding
with Phil Walker. For the first time since the first Yellow-rumped I saw this

A male Eurasian Wigeon reported yesterday at Lee Brown's, was once again seen
in the same location today at 2:30 pm. The bird is clearly visible from the
parking lot/viewing area and has been hanging around with a small group of
American Wigeon.

A single male Eurasian Widgeon was spotted in the Lee Brown Waterfowl
Management Area lagoon at 1:00 pm on Sunday, May 15th. It was in the company
of seven American Widgeon and a two Canada Geese. The lagoon is located
just west of Port Royal on Lakeshore Line (#42), Norfolk County.

A quick addendum to Mark's post. The Yellow-Breasted Chat found this morning
was present in the same reported area as late as 12:30 this afternoon. A rainy
and cold day but there are warblers everywhere! I first heard and then located
a Cerulean Warbler at the southwest corn

Hello Ontbirders.
At Rondeau this morning, birders reported: "He's baa-aack!" The 'he' in
question is a Yellow-throated Warbler. One was well-seen and
photographed at the Visitor Centre yesterday afternoon at 1:30. I found it
again at #17270 Lakeshore Road yesterday evening at 7:45 pm. Today,

The Connecticut Warbler, etc. was one of the 30 + 1* Warblers species seen down
there this month so far.
*Alfred and I also found a hybrid male Blue-winged / Golden-winged Warbler back
cross or variant.
