Most of the birds at Presqu'ile Provincial Park in the past few days are
summer residents, but there has been a good number of shorebirds and
flycatchers, as well as one surprising rarity which would not normally
occur this far north and not normally this late in the spring.

Today, Thursday June 2, at approximately 2:30pm I observed an unusually marked
Canada goose at McKee Park in Windsor. Everything about it was normal except
for the presence of two large white areas above each eye, making it look as if

wane, there were still some good birds locally this week. High water levels
have reduced habitat at the usual spots but flooded fields have been a bonus.
