Hi Everyone
The White-faced Ibis was present again in Carp until 6:54p.m. feeding and
preening. 3 lucky observers got to see it before I watched it take flight and
slowly drift southeast in large circles before loosing sight if it. I'll check
tomorrow morning and post if it returns.

We had about 10 bobolinks regularly sighted in the low shrubs on the north
side of McPhail Rd from late May till about 2 weeks ago. The disappearance
of the bobolinks coincided with the local hydro company clearing shrubs
under the power lines. This was a shrubby area between farm fields not a

At exactly 6:00am this morning, from my Ambleside balcony, Nina Stavlund and
myself saw a plegadis Ibis make a brief appearance at the mouth of the sewage
outlet, east of Britannia, and west of Deschenes lookout!
