It is still diving for fish in the calmer waters on the west side of the tip. I
posted some photos of it on my blog last night.

For the third day in a row, a singing male Cerulean Warbler is present in the
east block of the Mt. Pleasant cemetery, just north of the Visitor's Centre
(VC). It was singing between 7 am and 8 am, but as the clouds rolled in, it
temporarily stopped singing. At least it is still present.
A very probable hybrid Townsend's x Black-throated Gray Warbler was banded
at the Tommy Thompson Park Bird Research Station (Leslie Street Spit) in
Toronto on 25 April 2012. See photos.

As of 10:30 am the cerulean warbler was northeast of the cemetery office, in
plot 27. This is the eastern half of the cemetery, enter off Mt. Pleasant
Rd. north of Moore Ave. Singing pine warbler and black-throated green
warbler also present.

Again, this is probably an escapee, but a pretty cool thing to find in your
driveway!
at 76 Song Bird Drive, Markham Ontario. Near markham road and 14th Line.
I was unable to get a good close up of his feet, but there were no rings there.

Hey Birders,
What a difference a day can make! Today started out pretty slow. Around 8am
showers came through and lasted until 10:30am, afterwards
activity was very high, with a very intense reverse migration taking
place, lasting until 1:30pm. A rough guess of numbers of birds is around
