Hi All,
there were 5 returning Least Sandpipers, a Spotted Sandpiper and
a Killdeer on the mud flats at the western end of the harbour at Prince
Edward Point NWA this morning.

To reach Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory and the NWA,
Hi Ont-birders; With so many Dickcissel reports in Ontario this summer I
wasn't overly surprised to find these two males still singing. I am quite
happy to have it on my list, for many years slip by without a sighting in
Bruce County. They have been at this same location for at least a week.
July 10 - A trip starting at Rock Point Provincial Park (which is on the
north shore of Lake Erie 50 km west of Fort Erie, Ontario, and Buffalo, NY,
at the source of the Niagara River) and traveling east ward to Fort Erie,
resulted in 10 shorebird species.
