Hello,
I went to visit Beausoleil Island on Saturday.
Before I arrived at Beausoleil, I saw an eastern phoebe and a black-billed
cuckoo by Grises Road at approximately 9AM.
I also saw a white-throated sparrow, a common yellowthroat, and
black-and-white warblers approximately 15 meters down the pa

I again birded Ward’s and Algonquin Islands but this time with Bill Smith, Ian
Cannell and Peter McParland, great company every time.
The number of individual birds and species have increased since yesterday as we
hoped they would but still no fallout of note, yet.

I went back again today to the marsh, counting migrant shorebirds and
photographing the Green Herons. A chat made two brief appearances on
the ground under some dense overgrowth on the west side of the channel
outlet of Sheridan Creek from the marsh. I was about 30 feet away at
