Birders- This afternoon at 2:30pm a female Harlequin Duck was running the rapids at Bate Island in Ottawa.  The bird was on the north side of the island.  Also present were a Long-tailed Duck and many Common Goldeneyes.  Two flocks of Bohemian Waxwings flew across the river totaling ~160 birds.
