The banded Piping Plover was at Presqu'ile again today at noon at Beach 2 near
the water, as yesterday. Sorry for the late post. Thought someone would post
earlier.

6:00 pm behind the visitor centre at Rondeau Park. It was calling full and

This afternoon I found the second(?) breeding record for Sandhill Crane at
Hillman Marsh. I was able to observe one chick with two adults but there
may have been one more chick as it was difficult to view due to the long
grass.

I was walking south along the West Toronto Railpath last evening around 7:00,
when at Randolph Avenue I encountered a Northern Mockingbird, on the west side
of the path . I am from Chicago, where Mimus polyglottos is rare enough, but
