Greetings fellow birders:
An adult Buff breasted sandpiper was observed yesterday around 3:00 pm at the
Aylmer National Wildlife Area (NWA) on the north side of the pond. It was
weaving in and out of the vegetation on the edge along with Killdeer. Also
present at the pond was Northern
Unfortunately the Brown Pelican flew off from the Tip in a SE direction at
10:25 a.m.

foot of Deschenes Rapids. Observed from Britannia Point which is at the eastern
end of Cassells Road.

at 1:35 pm there are 14 Sandhill Cranes at Smith rd and Milton, Navan. Go
west on Smith from Milton look just south of the 1st corn field in the open
patch near the fence line.

Today at around 10am I found a Hudsonian Godwit along a section of mudflats at
the southern end of the Humber River; link to photo below. It was feeding with
two Least Sandpipers. The location is only accessible by canoe/kayak and is
located roughly 400 meters north of where the Queensway

(still) an American White Pelican in Cootes Paradise, Hamilton.

Just another update about the Brown Pelican at the east side of Wheatley
Harbour.
At about 3:30 this afternoon the gulls were flushed by people walking on
the beach and eventually the brown pelican also took off and was being
harassed for some time by some of the gulls. It eventually landed on
19 matches
