There is currently a single white morph snow goose among several hundred
Canadian geese at Claireville reservoir.
Directions - highway 427 north to Finch exit. West on Finch and turn into the
Wild Water Kingdom parking lot. Walk down to the reservoir.

Hi Ontbirders,
This morning from about 0709-0716, Terry Sprague and I observed 11 Great
Egrets leave their roost just west of Demorestville (Prince Edward
County). The birds were not visible in their roost from the roadside or
from within the fenced pasture in which the roost is located. This
Mark Peck and I just found the Brown Booby on
Donnelly's pier. It is sitting on the edge mid pier. No bird within 10 ft of it.

Hi all,
The bird flew in and landed on the lighthouse just after 5:40 pm, presumably to
roost. The rain picked up just after that so I imagine it will spend the night
there. It landed right at the top of the lighthouse (on the metal just below
the peak) with two Cormorants.

With the speedy assistance of Mark Peck and Tyler Hoar, we saw the Brown Booby
on the Donnelly Pier this afternoon. THEN, we got the flat tire on our vehicle
repaired while 2 Great Egrets and a Cooper's Hawk flew by.

17 folks joined me today as we explored the Durham Waterfront from Ajax to
Oshawa. The weather was kind and it didn't rain until we were almost done.
Seventy-one species were found including:
1 Horned Grebe
13 Common Loons
2 Black Scoters
Lesser Greater Scaup, Redhead, Ring-necked Duck,
