I have seen it previously: 11/03, 11/07, 12/27 2013 and today at 4:30 PM.
Throughout al of my years of birding at Eglinton Flats ( since 1999), I only
spotted it one fall. The park is located at SE corner of intersection Eglinton
Ave. and Jane St. Entering from the parking lot t
Please keep your eyes open for baiters. A gentleman was in the field across
the road with mice. Ethics aside, there is enough car traffic that it would
put the owl at risk.

As Phil said, there is one idiot photographer wearing camouflage pants and
jacket who is baiting mwith white mice, and is quite belligerence with
other breeders and photographers. Please make sure you let him know that
his activities are not tolerated and appreciated.

The GREAT GRAY OWL was being viewed by about 30 people at noon today on
CedarBrook Trail, a half kilometre or so north of Columbus Road, west of the
village of Brooklin. The SNOWY OWL was at the docks of the Whitby Marina at the
west end of Front St. (runs west off Brock St.) around 1 P.M. Looki
2 Grackles have been coming to my feeder the last few days.
