A Ross's Goose has been seen by us in Welland Canal just north of the
Jackknife Bridge off Barber Road in Port Colborne Jan.24th am and today at
9:30 am.
The bird is resting with a group of Canada Geese along water's edge or
swimming nearby. Confirmed with better view today and photo
Folks... Found a stranded Horned Grebe in the parking lot today. It was hunkered down under a vehicle. Any suggestions for a release location nearby?Email me privately...Thanks..Rick ThorntonExeter

4 Barrow's Goldeneyes spotted moments ago on Lodge Road in Barrhaven (2
females, 2 males).
Visited 4184 looking for the grey partridges, none were spotted. I did however
see a flick of about 15 snow buntings. They landed in the driveway and quickly
flew off.

Following up on the post from Blayne and Jean Re: Ross Goose in Port
Colborne.
Lisa Teskey and I checked the site this afternoon around 2:30 and were soon
met by Nancy Smith, and were greeted by about 10 Canadas. Knowing that
geese presumably return to the same spots to roost for the
