*The Kentucky Warbler was heard and seen at 6:30 a.m. this morning at
its usual spot. Again it was singing the entire time during my stay. I
did not see or hear the Worm-eating Warbler. I did hear Pine Warbler
and Chipping Sparrow.*

Today, at 11:55, three White Pelicans flew from south to north just
off-shore on Lake Scugog at Port Perry. They were seen from the parking
lot of the Public Library.
Port Perry is north-east of Toronto directly north of Oshawa with Hwy 7A
passing through town.

The three White Pelicans just flew over the Island Road from East to West
(about 2 km North of 7A) --flying low and dropping down below trees towards the
water on the West side of the Island. Birds should be viisible on Lake Scugog
water from the west shore about 2 km North of Port Perry.

Seen today June 5--- 1.15 pm at the end of Angler Line were it turns
into a private driveway.Straight out from the the end of the road there
is a duck hide the bird was in that area.A scope or good binoculars
needed to view.

There was a striking difference between birding at Presqu’ile Provincial Park
at the end of last week and in the first few days of June. While migration has
not completely stopped, the majority of birds present now are on their breeding
territory.

This evening I saw 2 Arctic Terns hawking insects over the Ottawa River from
Britannia Point. A Black Tern was also present. A Red necked Phalarope was also
in a wet area of a field off Brophy Rd east of Moodie Dr which is south west of
Barrhaven
