Good evening Birders,
With the advantage of having parents with a cottage in the county I was able to
leisurely wait for the Chuck-will's-widow to start calling tonight. At 9:20 my
son, David, and I heard the bird singing (we dipped the night before as we
arrived at 9:45 and with no moon there

Since the bird is in no mans land, I thought an update would be appreciated.
Lisa and I have just left the previously reported locale, south of the
party town of Milford, prince Edward county, where chuck sang regularly for
us from 9:20 pm till around 9:40pm, at which time the half dozen
Driving away from the lark bunting, with my mom, on 2nd concession just east of
Mcginn rd. Just west of house 4505. Landed on wire. Took quick pictures.
Unmistakeable. Just disappeared.

Birders,
The Lark Bunting previously reported on Amherst Island was refound this
morning by Lisa Teskey and viewed by a group of us. Photos taken.
>From the ferry dock take the only road south then right on 2nd concession.
Travel quite a ways west past the jog in the road then left on McGinn.
