2 Immature and 1 female Evening Grosbeak were seen at the main trail near the
eastern end where it turns to run along the marsh. Found by Dan Simpson. Many
Robins and Juncos present and the previously reported Female Black-backed
Woodpecker. 2 Pileated also seen.

Most birders who visited Presqu'ile Provincial Park on the Thanksgiving
weekend were rewarded by comfortable conditions and a good variety of
migrant birds, both on land and in the water.

Not much to report today with regards to raptors (23 total) but thanks to all
who came out. There were 14 Monarch Butterflies though, and we've been seeing
lots like that every day for the past few weeks which hopefully shows that in
spite of all the insecticid

At noon today I observed a raven, flying low and at a good speed toward the
southwest, over the intersection of Monarch Avenue and Hunt Street, Ajax. I was
driving in the opposite direction, so where it went after that is uncertain.
