This afternoon, a group of us refound the juvenile Pacific Loon off the west
side of the tip of Point Pelee. When we first found it, it was somewhat close
to shore but it swam continuously southwest until we lost it due to distance
around 3:15pm.

Today Alfred Adamo and I went to the Toronto Islands with hopes of a movement
of Raptors and Passerines i.e. Bluebirds and Blackbirds but we were
disappointed as none were moving, at least not over The Islands but we made up
for these missing birds with some nice pelagic ones.
We saw 2 Pomarine

Here's a head's-up on an unexpected sighting of a White-winged Crossbill
at our feeder this morning in north central Elgin County north of Aylmer
and southeast of London.
Perhaps others are moving today across the south or will do so in the
next few days.
The bird was a female plumaged White
We are currently watching a juvi pacific loon swimming at the tip as
originally spotted by Alan Wormington, the rest of us were "asleep at the
wheel".
This might be the same individual I spotted yesterday at Hillman Beach
around 4pm which I didn't bother posting cause it disappeared after a 5min

Andrew Keaveney and I have discovered a le contes sparrow at Jarvis sewage
lagoons. Its working the cat tails of cell 1 north east corner currently.
Walk the lagoon and it should flush.
Hwy 6 to Jarvis east on Talbot first right after john street after wabisa
sign. Looks like a driveway. D
Under overcast skies and persistent drizzle,12 adventurous birders came
together for an afternoon exploration of the Ottawa River.
With the river's high water level, bird activity seemed very slow.
There was no shorebird habitat, and waterfowl were hiding in sheltered bays.
