The Little Egret is still present at the mouth of Pinecrest Creek and now

The Little Egret was seen at 8:30 am by Bill Lindley and myself at the mouth of
Pinecrest Creek in Ottawa. Later, it moved further out and was last seen at
9:00 am feeding right beside the American Avocet. Both birds can be seen with
a scope from the parking lot off of the Sir John A. MacDonal
Still at the mouth of the Creek opposite Britannia point. Please please do not
go down into the reeds. There are birders travelling from Southern Ontario and
close approach to this bird may cause it to fly

Hi everyone
The Little Egret continues to feed at the mouth of Pinecrest Creek. It
occasionally goes up the creek and out of sight for short periods of time.
Lots of birders came today to view this first Ontario record.
Last posting from me today.
Good luck,
