The Little Egret was seen at 8:30 am by Bill Lindley and myself at the mouth of Pinecrest Creek in Ottawa. Later, it moved further out and was last seen at 9:00 am feeding right beside the American Avocet. Both birds can be seen with a scope from the parking lot off of the Sir John A. MacDonal
