Jean and I were at Jones Beach in St. Catharines late this morning to search
for the Snow Goose (Port Weller) posted on the Ontbirds Facebook page. The
goose was not there but we were excited to find a lifer Whimbrel. We observed
it for a couple of minutes before it took flight and

A group of five juveniles along with a dozen Common Terns. Lakeland Centre.Directions to Van Wagners Beach: Take the Centennial Parkway (Hwy.20) exitfrom the QEW in east Hamilton and proceed north to the North Service Rd.,turn left and continue west as it turns into Van Wagners Beach
A juv parasitic flew over us and inland about 10 minutes ago. A juv Sabines
just flew into Halton waters just moments ago. Should be visible from Spencer
Smith on Lakeshore.

31 between Foresthill Rd. and Ormond Rd on the east side.
