To get to Port Weller, take the Niagara Street/Regional Road 48 exit from the
QEW in St Catharines, and drive north towards Lake Ontario. Stay on Niagara
Street for 5 km, then turn right onto Lakeshore Road. Drive over the Welland
Canal and take your second le
Laura Bond and I just found a Lark Sparrow at the very end of the Port Weller
east pier. It is at the mouth of the Welland Canal, on the concrete section
beyond the fence. I'll post later tonight with better directions.

Sue Barth had a Piping Plover at Woodlawn Beach this morning. I was able to
view the bird from 10-11:10- am. The bird was associating with a Semipalmated
Plover. Both plovers were near the water's edge approximately 1/2 way between
