The Cattle Egret at Col. Sam Smith Park, at the bottom of Kipling,
continues to make itself easily seen, as of Nov. 6. Another birder told me
it likes to hang around on the grass and rocks on the outermost western
point. If it is scared away, it likes to hide on the south shore of that
point,

We saw the continuing Cattle Egret (adult) about 100 meters west of
Whimbrel Point in Col Sam Smith Park today at about 4 pm.. It was quite
conspicuous and would permit close approach but was also flushed by
leash-free dogs.
Col Sam Smith Park is at the bottom of Kipling Ave south of the QEW
28 Sandhill Cranes NE of Trim Road and McFadden Road (almost at south end of Trim Road).
