Hi Everyone
The Pacific Loon was still present late afternoon today on Muskrat Lake.
With colder overnight temperatures the lake is now starting to freeze but
there is still lots of open water.
Good birding,
Bruce
Directions: Cobden is located west of Ottawa on Hwy 17. The boat launch is
visible
The adult Black-headed Gull is still present at the whirlpool as of 10:20,
flying and swimming/drifting on the water with Bonaparte's. A number of us
were there observing and tracking the bird but snow is making visibility
tricky!
Good birding,

Hello,
Maya Ricker-Wilson and I observed the Lark Sparrow in the previously reported
location this morning just before 10:00. It was coming to feed on seed just
west of a First Gulf Trailer in the lot behind, near the blue polka dotted poll
(the third or fourth counting from the west)
