While doing the West Elgin CBC today around 4pm, Ann White and I found a
first year male Yellow-headed Blackbird in a field of corn stubble at the
southeast corner of Currie Road and Aberdeen Line, just north of the 401
exit 149. It was associating with a large flock of Mourning Doves and a
Rusty B
Jack Miner's is outside of Kingsville, which is south of Windsor. It has been a
waterfowl sanctuary since 1904.

We have an immature female Indigo Bunting inconsistently coming to our feeder.
It showed up Dec 23 and 24 and then once on the 25th. It wasn't seen at all
yesterday but was back briefly just now (the 27th). We're sorry we couldn't

Late report. Christmas morning there were two male Long Tailed Ducks feeding
along the ice edge out from the Watts building out The road to the grain
elevators. Unable to get out and look again but will update if refound.
