My dad and I just had a Ibis Sp. fly over us heading east/southeast from the

The field trip began at Tiny Marsh at 7:15 a.m. with three eager participants
joining yours truly. We scoured the Beaver Trail west of the main building for
150 minutes and found 50 species including l good ooks at Alder, Willow and
Great-crested Flycatchers and Eastern Kingbird and a Canada Wa

There is an EBird photo of a Laughing Gull at Ashbridges Bay early this
morning, Saturday, that was reported as a Franklin's but it is different
obviously from the Franklin's I reported earlier and has been here all
afternoon. Heads up everyone. Flooded Woodbine Beach is the place to watch.

There are 7 brilliant Red knots in a flooded field just 1.2 km east of Muley
point road on Hwy 12 east of orillia. Odd sighting for a field.

The Franklin's Gull reported by Jean Iron is still present. At Woodbine Beach
(just off Ashbridges Bay parking lot). Settled in with many Ring-billed Gulls.
South of volleyball courts.

The bird has moved about 50 m east and fed for a while in a waste dumping
area and then moved further east and out of sight. Try going along the
north edge of the lagoons.

For any GTA birders who may be interested, earlier this morning I had both an
Acadian Flycatcher and a Connecticut Warbler calling at Marie Curtis Park in
Mississauga.
Both birds were in roughly the same location - just off the trail that leads
through the forest in a swampy, brushy clearing w
The bird was just seen high in the trees above the trail in the same area it's
been for the past several days.
