Phllarope showing now. Baird's also present. Lots of other shorebirds, too.

Just a note for anyone considering shorebirding at West Perth Wetlands
(a.k.a., Mitchell Sewage Lagoons)...
Water levels are still a bit high in the four traditionally good cells (NW,
NE, SW & fenced) to support good shorebird numbers, although conditions are
improving in the first (NW) cell,
Still dancing around in Cell 2. Nice temperature for walking today.

DIrection... from the base Of Leslie St at Unwin Ave, walk some 30 minutes
along the Lake side road to Cell 2. In the SW portion of the extended cell
2, there is a very Tall Fence

The Tricolored Heron was still at cell 2 when I got there.
