Four juvenile Wilson’s phalaropes were present in a flooded sod field this
evening at 6:45. Numerous other shorebirds present including 2 Short-billed
Dowitchers, Pectoral and Least Sandpipers and Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs.

At about 6:35pm I came across two Cattle Egrets on Townline Rd. about 250
metres northwest of Maple Line in Chatham-Kent County. This about 1.5 km
from the St. Clair National Wildlife Refuge. After watching and
photographing them for a few minutes a truck drove by and they flew off in
a northwest
THEDFORD IS VERY CLOSE TO THE PINERY PARK.
For the first time this Fall I went towards the GRAND BEND SEWAGE LAGOONS.
However-- Holiday traffic is dense and so I peeled off to the THEDFORD LAGOONS.
There was a lot of shorebird activity today. Dozens of Lesser Yellowlegs and
