[Ontbirds] Ross's Goose on the Woolwich Reservoir, near Elmira

Late this afternoon, a single adult Ross's Goose was ensconced with a flock of roughly 150 Canada Geese in the southwest section of the Woolwich Reservoir. The Canadas appeared to be a mix of local and migrant birds. There were thousands of gulls on the lake as well, virtually all Ring-billed.

Everywhere I have driven today I see small groups of Bluebirds. Mixed adult and juveniles. Near Mill of Kintail north of Almonte, 7th line Ramsay north of Cayton road and Drummond Rd east of Ramsay 7. Must be time for moving on. cheers iain ___

2 adult Pacific Loons, 1 Sabines Gull, 10 Little Gulls visible from Minet’s Point at 10:10 this morning. Directions: At the Barry waterfront, follow Lakeshore Rd along the bay to Minet’s Point Rd. Turn left and drive to the parking lot at the lake. Dave Milsom Sent from my iPhone
