Being seen in La Salle Park Marina along the path leading from the parking lot
along the lake near the boardwalk and beach
Visible now around the steps at the northwest end of the car park. Follow the
crowds.
Directions: Off the 403, take waterdown road straight down to the Marina. Look
for
Nancy and I saw the bird briefly Bout 10 minutes ago. It was north of the boat
launch where it was found by Kiah Jasper and Alfred Raab yesterday. It flew in
from the north and landed very close to shore. I took a few pictures and while
posting it disappeared. Trying to relocate it now.

I just received a call from Scott Connop saying yesterdays Western Grebe just
outside of Sarnia continues today. It has moved west a few hundred meters and
is now near the intersection of Old Lakeshore Rd and Centre Ave.

Hello birders:
Of the 63 bird species spotted collectively by the 30 participants, BRANT,
PIED-BILLED GREBE, AMERICAN COOT, EVENING GROSBEAK, GREAT HORNED OWL,
RED-THROATED LOON, EASTERN TOWHEE, BROWN THRASHER, and GREATER YELLOWLEGS
were the highlights.
