The alumni and friends of West Humber Naturalists held the 38th annual
Kleinburg Christmas Bird Count on December 16th under good conditions with no
precipitation and mild temperatures. The circle includes parts of Brampton,

After the first sixteen days of December the 2018-2019 Ontario winter bird list
stands at 189 species, which is slightly above average for the date. As far as
I can discern three species have been added to the all-time Ontario winter list
so far, including the Great Kiskadee at Rondeau Provincia
The Greater white-fronted Goose is present in the bay between the Royal
Military College and Fort Henry. Guards at the gate into RMC were very
accommodating.
