I am at Amherst Island with Tom Wheatley and we are looking for the curlew
sandpiper. There is a bird here in basic plumage which I believe is a dunlin.
It is all grey but clearly shows a divided rump patch and spotting in sides of
breast and flanks. I don't know if this is the same bird

Curlew Sandpiper at Martin Edwards Reserve on Amherst Island. He says it is
with Dunlin, White-rumped and Semipalmated sandpipers at the first pond just
