While searching unsuccessfully for the Harris's Sparrow this morning in
Wellington (not seen for the last two days as far as we know) we learned
about this bird and had it about 20 minutes after we arrived.
The bird is coming to seed that has been scattered on the path (road) to
the lighthouse

I am not there myself but I understand that the Slaty-backed Gull is currently
being seen at Mohawk Lake, Brantford, the same location as it was found at
yesterday. Again, I am not there and have no further info but want to get the
word out for those interested in seeing it. Cheryl’s google
Spotted Towhee is continuing at Prince Edward point bird observatory. It made a
brief at 10:30 am appearance at bird seed pile on gravel walk out to
Lighthouse. It was also seen by others earlier.
