Hello Ontbirders, Last evening Rich Poort and Bob Curry independently found an adult Western Sandpiper at Windermere Basin in Hamilton. The bird has been seen again this morning.
Most of Windermere Basin is closed to public access and the bird is tricky to see from publicly-accessible vantage points. These public vantage points are accessed from the parking lot/trail off of Eastport Drive ( https://goo.gl/maps/Sv2feiywKLxPL5PL8). A spotting scope would be necessary/highly beneficial.
