Currently looking at adult previously reported about 1 km to west of original
site. South end of Oakwood Ave S where it meets the lake. Bird about 200 m out
sitting on water. Darkness of mantle and wing good for this species. Only
slightly larger than nearby Ring-billed Gulls. Bill thick but
Hi folks: an afternoon update on the Slaty-backed Gull in Mississauga. 1-
Before 2 pm it was feeding on a fish at the mouth of Cookville creek. Then it
flew, perhaps because of a RT Hawk overhead) 2- I re-found it (at 2:05 pm)
flying near the Ridgetown moored boat ( Port Credit ) and it
