I can’t figure out Discord so I’m trying this the simpler “old fashioned“ way

About an hour ago I found a male Eurasian Wigeon on Lilabelle Lake north of
Cochrane. Unfortunately all i have with me is binoculars and cellphone so i
couldn’t get photos. It was swimming around they open part of the lake or
loafing on the ice with 3 or more pairs of American Wigeons. The luminescent
red head stood out well despite the distance and rain

Lilabelle Lake is a large lake a few minutes north of Cochrane. When you get to
Cochrane, take the first exit of the roundabout (Railway Street). Follow this
road until you get to the arena, the turn left (north) on the road immediately
after the arena (Genier Rd). Go about 6 km then turn left on Concession 4/5.
The duck was in the open water at the end of the road. If it’s not there, you
can try the North end of the lake (Concession 6/7) or the sewage lagoons on
Concession 2/3 (contact me for directions).

Cochrane is about 8 hours north of the GTA on highway 11.
