with the frequency in which non-rare birds are being
reported.

fault but they do hinder my ability to become a better

On Sunday afternoon I came across large concentrations of Canadian Geese in
the Moorewood-Winchester area, with numbers certainly in the 10s of
thosands. The birds were largely concentrated in several flocks which
shifted between corn fields, there were no extensive areas of standing water
and no obvious focal area. I located one Greater Snow Goose (adult, white)
among them. The best viewing areas were along the Moorewood road between
Highway 31 and Moorewood, and along various sideroads in the immediate area.
The Moorewood Road is well sign posted on Highway 31 a few kilometers north
of Winchester.
