lot. Foraging in canopy and sub-canopy.

Still being seen this morning and early afternoon in the DUC cell located at
the south end of the reservoir. Best viewed from the rock berm east of the
road.
Directions: From the 401, take Exit 218 and follow Hwy 119 north toward St.
Mary's. Turn right onto County Road 28 (aka Road 96) and

The Tufted Duck was seen by many today from the main lookout in a large group
of waterfowl consisting of Greater Scaup, Ruddy Ducks, Red-breasted Mergansers,

As of 12:40 pm today, there was a pair of Dickcissels in the cultural meadow
on the south side of Country Squire Lane, just east of the terminus of
University Ave East in the City of Waterloo. A 2nd male was observed earlier in
the day and was possibly still present.

This morning, I found a male Eurasian Widgeon on the Laurel Creek reservoir,
along with 2 male and 1 female American Widgeons, many Ring-necked Ducks, Ruddy
Ducks, a male Canvasback, Pied-billed Gebes, and a Horned Grebe.
The reservoir is now at or very near the upper operating level. All

The painted bunting was present at 33 Arkendo Drive, Sunday, December 21. The
bird was initially seen on the edge of the cedar hedge along the rear lot line,
and spent approx. 5-10 minutes at the feeder before flying off.
