A couple of Short-billed Dowitchers were just seen at the big pond at Downsview Park. Unfortunately they just flew off. They may still be around. Might come back or flew to one of the other 2 smaller ponds. Will update if I see them again. Downsview Park is at Keele street and Sheppard avenue in
Bird still here resting on a high branch. This is in high park's bird sanctuary
close to the north of the park and to the east of the main central road not far
from and to the west of the off leash dog area .

Sorry should've specified this is in Toronto. North York to be specific closest intersection is Sheppard Ave and Keele St.
Bird is in William Baker section of park. If on Sheppard and facing west it is just to the right of John Drury traffic lights. It is mere meters from the bus stop feeding in the grass and associating with Chipping Sparrows, Goldfinches and a lone Junco. Sent from my BlueBerry Classic
