On Tuesday morning (Apr 1) Paul Mikoda and I heard an Eastern Phoebe while at the Doon Wastewater Treatment Plant in the south end of Kitchener. Doon WTP is located off Mill Park Dr with the bird sounding like it was close to the trails that run along the Grand River at this location. gB

Yesterday (Feb 28/08) I observed 8 Bald Eagles in the area of Hamilton Harbour immediately west and south of Canada Centre for Inland Waters and the Ship Canal. At one point 6 were sitting together on the ice quite near the SW corner of CCIW property while another 2 were further away on the ice.
