I was on the 401 near exit 278 (Kitchener) about 9:30am and saw a flock of about 50 birds flying in a v with some straggling. Normally I might think it was Canada Geese but it wasn't quite the same. Perhaps someone else saw them and identified them?? I wondered if whether it was a flock whimbrels (since there has been a lot on them on the bird reports). They were heading NW. I just couldn't pull over and whip out my binoculars:).
