there is an immature Bald Eagle perched in a tree on the Niagara Parkway
just south of Line 6 road (on the river side) in Niagara-on-the-Lake.It
is directly across from where the small church use to be

I spotted a Great Egret at Dufferin Islands in Niagara Falls this
afternoon. He flew off with some sticks in his mouth so perhaps they are
building there nests on the island above the falls

ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists -
this is second hand information but a person where I work said they saw a
Snowy Owl perched on the old Police Station at the NE corner of Zimmerman
Avenue and Park Street in Niagara Falls, Ont. yesterday evening at 4:30.

I went back to Jack Custers Bird Sanctuary in Niagara-on-the-lake and on my
way to the blind I noticed an Eastern Screech Owl sticking his head out of
one of the bird houses Jack has up in the tree.To view the Screech take
the trail at the end of the parking lot and head towards the blind

Jack Custers Bird Sanctuary is a juvenile or not but I did take some
photo's yesterday . I placed them on flickr. I hope this works

I stopped by Jack Custers Bird Sanctuary at 5pm tonight and the American
White Pelicank was still swimming in the pond. I talked to Jack Custer and
he said over 200 people visited his sanctuary today.

The Pelican has been at the pond for the last two days and was still there
at 4:30 pm when I left.
