The BBWD continue at Wheatley, currently there are 8 birds perched in a
tree along Muddy Creek, where they have been previously reported the past
few days.

After searching for past couple hours Kirtland's has not been re-located
in the campground area. Lots of birds were moving quickly north but it may
have settled in somewhere just north of park. Reading my prior post bird
was first located in the SE end of campground site 306 before flying north,
Observed at 800am at North end of campground in Cedar trees bird stayed
2min then continued North sang twice still possibly in campground area
currently trying to relocate. Lots warblers moving North through park.

Had a Leconte's sparrow at 11:45
in the tall grass prairie area south of children's farm. Will probably
stay in the area.
Take Christina st N onto Cathcart Blvd. Park at small parking lot at
entrance of park. You will see a green sign that says tall grass prairie.
Take paved trail approx. 100m S
My Dad found a Male Kirtland's warbler at approx 11:50 North of orientation
parking lot at the end of the new gravel trail where it loops, trail ends
not far from park entrance. Was with a large number of palms and yellow
rumped warblers. Currently trying to relocate. Parking is limited.

For anyone interested in seeing this bird or out searching. Gyr has been
viewed from Chalk line or Brickyard like along a tree lot behind house 6890
. Now and then it takes flight and chases flock of Snow Bunting. Scope
required but has been perching along Brickyard line at various perches

There is a female Harlequin Duck being observed at the Sombra ferry dock
(U.S./CND border crossing) on the St. Clair River. The bird has been in
the area for the past week associating with a flock of Mallards, a local
resident that feeds the ducks alerted us to the bird late yesterday. The

Male Kentucky Warbler being seen as of 11:00AM approx. 250ft past cemetery
sign on Anders foot path approx. 50ft on left/west side of trail at 6th
orange trail marker skulking on ground.
Park at White Pine picnic area for closest access. Take chinquapin oak
trail then go North towards cemetery.
Observed at 11:00hrs moving with a large flock of yellow-rumps on the west
end of Lake Chipican, north of animal farm.

Sombra. It is associating with a flock of approx. 20 Common Goldeneye.
Was still there at 13:30 hrs upon departing. Best area to view bird would

YBCH continues at Dunes behind washroom/small clearing with picnic table at
06:10. Take gravel path west towards lake from parking lot. Bird was on
ground near picnic table affording clear views.

Male Harlequin Duck reported by Blake Mann yesterday is still present at
same location as of 11:00am today. Head of Stag Island, Corunna ON,
Guthrie Park South parking lot. Scope required, there is a condo Mariner's
Village on U.S. side has been in that vicinity for past 45 min with Common
Golden
Observed an almost entirely white presumed Red-tailed hawk, at
1:30pm, while driving home from Sloan's Christmas Trees just West of
Bothwell, ON. Thought it was a Snowy Owl!!! The bird was distant and
sitting in a treeline, directly East of Heavenly Earth Nursery's located at
29816 Zone Road 4.
Female King Eider reported on mich listers by Tom Hince is currently being
observed from Point Edward 14:00 hrs at mouth of the lake. It has been
with White-winged Scoters.

Currently watching a Black Vulture sitting on beach at the end of sand spit
in Rondeau Park bird can be viewed easily with scope from Erieau pier.

One lone bird resting on island with gulls might be able to view from Marsh
Trail or South Point with a good scope, from Rondeau Park. Island is full
of Cormorants. Possibly from Erieau may be able to view. Found bird while
kayaking. Still present currently.

Had bird fly up off beach near end of South point trail at 5:45PM. Heading
South over lake and cut back in. Might be at the end of spit or possibly
show up in Erieau. I did not see it land.

This morning at 7:30am the worm-eating warbler previously found on Apr 28,
was relocated NE of parking lot behind bathroom facility. The bird was
continually singing, sometimes high up.

The King Eider found Jan 12th is still present. The bird is in the same
location first posted, mouth of the Maitland River in Goderich, on the
north side of the harbour. We observed the bird from approx 1:30 to
2:30pm. It was out near the end of the pier in the choppy water. Got
great views of
At 4:15 PM Mike Bouman found and photographed a Marbled Godwit in a flooded
field, just outside of the ICI constructed Wetlands. The bird remained
there for nearly 30minutes before flying off in a SW direction. Likely to
one of the many other flooded fields in the area.
