There are six Greater White-fronted Geese on Stoney Creek mtn in a flooded
field across from the Vinemount sign on Ridge Rd. between 10th Rd. E and 8th
Rd. E. No doubt these are the same 6 found by Mike MacLeod at a nearby
location yesterday. The number of waterfowl has greatly increased
Mourad Jabra has relocated the 28, possibly 30, GWFG in a field across from
3048 Miller Rd., Pt. Colborne.

A little earlier today, Kevin McLaughlin spotted a female Harlequin Duck right
under the Burlington Lift Bridge. I just refound her about halfway up the ship
canal on the lake side. Hopefully she hangs around.
QEW Toronto, exit onto Eastport Drive, drive over the Lift Bridge and turn left
Watching it at the falls now.

Both being viewed now from Spencer Smith Park, loon was first spotted by Luke
Berg then seen by Dominik Halas and myself. It is very far out. Gannet has
been sitting on the lake for a while.

I’m only hearing reports secondhand but I’m told the gannet was flushed by a
ship. I don’t know yet if it has been relocated by anyone but if you are
heading there maybe best to park somewhere along Burlington Beach/Beachway Park

Late this afternoon Tom Miller found a male Yellow-headed Blackbird in a pond
on the north side of the North Service Road between Guelph Line and Brant St.
Both of these roads are accessed from the QEW. People are watching the bird
right now and he has been seen in various locations around

Campground at 18254 Kent Bridge Road in Rondeau.

I (and others) just saw the Lark Sparrow exactly where Garth Riley said it was.
As per Garth: It is east of the Don roadway, North of Lakeshore Blvd. Bird is
about 200 metres east of the Don Roadway, along the edge of a private road
along side a warehouse building.

morning. It is being quite skulky and staying low in the grass. This bird was
