A flock of roughly 100 Bonaparte's Gulls were actively foraging close to
Chimney Island near Mallorytown Landing this morning. They were mixed in
with Hooded merganser, bufflehead, common merganser, ring-necked duck and
common golden-eye. Directions: Exit 401 at off-ramp #675, go south until
Northern flicker stopped by my feeder today. Not sure if it will hang around
or not. Im located in Glen Gables Village just west of Kemptville on Highway
43.

I came across a flock of about 40-50 Horned Larks yesterday afternoon at
about 1pm along Actons Corners Road near Kemptville. They were actively
feeding along the roadside and had about a dozen snow buntings mixed in
with them. There was also 3 ravens foraging around.
