the observation that someone to the east of the
above intersection seems to be feeding the pigeons that are seen perched on
wires near Harding Road, so this also could be attractive to the bird.

Observing 31 Sandhill cranes in field directly south of Smith Road just east of
10th line road.
Travel east on Queensway, head south on 10th line Road to the end and then turn
left on Smith Road.

for lower duck island closer to 100 m so great possibilities for excellent
scope viewing and relatively good for long lens photography, especially if the
birds decide to start circling around the islands which they do from time to
time.
