The Yellow-crowned Night-Heron in Cambridge was still present today a couple of
metres down stream from the bridge until a photographer complete with waders had
to get one metre closer for his shot. It flew downstream at 1:00 p.m. My photo
was taken from the bank about half way down the slope.

Townsend Solitaire this morning Dec. 31, at 11:00 a.m. the top of the a spruce
in front of # 64 Forfar Ave. It came in and perched and after about 10 minutes
flew to the west.
