[Ontbirds] Cattle Egret -- About 30 km south of Ottawa (I.e., "Where is Kemptville?")

There's been some birders wondering where Kemptville is. It's about ‎30 km south of Ottawa, just off Hwy. 416. To see the Cattle Egret, take Exit 42. That's the most direct route. Hwy. 416 runs between Hwy. 401 and Ottawa. It's a four-lane divided highway, fairly good. Good luck, and safe

There were a few people out in moderately heavy rain, but the bird was not seen. (There was a Great Egret, though.) There is lots of excellent habitat between Bridgestone Dr. and Hope Side Road -- ‎stormwater ponds and channels -- so the area is worth exploring later today. Directions: Hwy.
