Today, August 12, I observed the Swallow-tailed Kite at the recent regular
location just east of Luther Marsh. I observed it from about 500 meters to 1 Km
distance distance east of sideroad 21 and 22, and about 1 km south of the
entrance to Luther Marsh on that same road. The bird soared constantly for half
an hour, occasionally diving. Around 1 PM it soared to the south and was lost
to my view.
