Last night I got an eBird alert about a Summer Tanager seen in London coming
to a wasp nest on the Thames Valley Golf Course.
I am posting on behalf of several folks who got there in time to see it, on
November 12.
Apparently it is not always in the vicinity of the wasp nest, and in fact
the nest
As per a number of locations throughout southern Ontario, a couple of
pelicans have visited Komoka Provincial Park.
One of the local birders contacted me to say that she had a heads up that
there were 2 pelicans on the north side of the park in the ponds there.
She was able to locate one later th
Just refound the Kentucky Warbler reported from yesterday. In NE corner of
Tilden Woods. Take path into woods and turn onto Chinquapin Trail and head
north in until the path makes turn to left. Foraging on right side just before
turn in and around stumps. Some singing.

We have just refound the prairie warbler in the Cactus Field. Right now on east
side of the trail about mid way along. Near where side trail crosses back to
Centennial Trail. Sometimes singing. With Palm Warbler. Some kinglets too with
it.

The bird is still showing well in the cactus field. Sorry about the day. It is
may 15 of course.
